TECHNICAL SALES AGRONOMISTS (3 Full-Time Positions Available)
Locations: Batangas, Negros Oriental, Bukidnon
OVERVIEW: The primary role of the TSA is to support the company in its market development and growth objectives by creating awareness and demand for the Company’s products within the assigned sales territory. DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES TECHNICAL 1. Identify potential field trial partners and farmer-cooperators and effectively execute these trials in collaboration with the company’s technical development team. 2. Gather, process and report data from the field trials in an accurate and timely manner. 3. Conduct regular product trainings to dealers, farmers and other relevant stakeholders. 4. Provide technical support at both retail and farm levels. 5. Manage technical or product-related inquiries or concerns from partners, customers and other relevant stakeholders. 6. Organize and conduct Growers Meetings, Field Tours, Harvest Festivals and similar activities to promote the Company’s products. SALES SUPPORT 1. Create brand awareness for the Company’s products in the area of assignment. 2. Identify potential distribution channels or volume buyers within the assigned sales territory and promote the Company’s products to these potential buyers. 3. Build and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential customers by providing exemplary customer service. SKILLS AND ABILITIES 1. Technical Knowledge a. Must have a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or any Agriculture-related course. b. Crop nutrition knowledge is essential 2. Language and Communication Skills a. Excellent verbal and communication skills b. Has good sense of judgment and is capable of making sound decisions 3. Mathematical and computation Skills a. Knows the basic mathematical operations b. Has sound logical reasoning abilities 4. Planning and Organizing a. Ability to achieve professional confidence and elicit cooperation from others b. Ability to coordinate a variety of complex tasks simultaneously 5. Computer Skills a. Working knowledge of basic programs to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Forms, and the like.
PLANTATION BUSINESS SPECIALIST
Location: Bukidnon
OVERVIEW: XANADU AGRI PRODUCTS is looking for a PLANTATION BUSINESS SPECIALIST to support its growth objectives. This role will be tasked to lead the development of the company’s plantation business by leveraging on their established relationships within this market segment as well as forging new ones. The Plantation Business Specialist will focus on demand creation and subsequent sales generation by introducing the company’s products to plantations, commercial farms and other large-scale crop growers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Plantation Business Specialist will be tasked to: 1. Establish and cultivate meaningful relationships with plantation owners, farm managers and other relevant stakeholders. 2. Actively seek new business development opportunities within the Plantations segment thru targeted prospecting, network-building and effective sales pipeline management. Priority crops include (but are not limited to): a. Sugarcane b. Pineapple c. Banana d. Coffee and Cacao 3. Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to negotiation and closing. a. Identify, research and validate prospects to gain a reasonable understanding of the opportunity. b. Introduce the company’s products to potential clients and highlight the cost reduction, yield increase and other benefits to be gained from using the products. c. Carry out client engagement meetings to correctly determine the prospective customer’s needs and other pain points. d. Collaborate with the Technical Development Team to develop solutions that are appropriately matched to the prospect’s needs. e. Work closely with relevant team members to ensure the successful execution of field trials and other required proofs of concept. 4. Continuously cultivate and strengthen these customer relationships, making sure our partners are nurtured for the long-term. 5. Stay informed of industry developments, identify potential agricultural issues and opportunities, and advise Management on possible solutions or recommended actions. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 1. Must have at least 5 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably gained in an Agribusiness company 2. With an established network within the Plantations industry, specifically large-scale growers focused on the specified priority crops 3. Must have extensive knowledge of local commercial farming practices in at least one of the priority crops 4. Technical knowledge in crop nutrition is a plus but not required 5. Holds a degree in Business, Agriculture or any related course 6. Must be willing to travel
