A. Technical Sales Agronomist

​

To address our growth and expansion needs, we are looking for experienced Technical Agronomists to develop the markets in BULACAN, BOHOL and NEGROS ORIENTAL.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary role of the Technical Agronomist is to support the company in its market development and growth objectives by promoting proper technical product knowledge and ensuring the optimal use of the Company’s products.

DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES :

​​

TECHNICAL

  1. Identify potential demo trial partners and farmer-cooperators and effectively execute these trials in collaboration with the company’s technical development team.​

  2. Gather, process and report data from the demo trials in an accurate and timely manner.

  3. Conduct regular product trainings to dealers, farmers and other relevant stakeholders.

  4. Provide technical support at both retail and farm levels.

  5. Manage technical or product-related inquiries or concerns from customers.

​

SALES & PROMOTION

  1.  Create brand awareness for the Company’s products in the area of assignment.

  2. Identify potential distribution channels, dealers or volume buyers within the assigned sales territory and promote the Company’s products to these potential buyers. Travel might be required.

  3. Build and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential customers by providing exemplary customer service.

  4. Generate “demand pull” in the assigned sales territory and ensure that dealers in the area are well-stocked.

  5. Organize and conduct Growers Meetings, Field Tours, Harvest Festivals and similar activities to promote the Company’s products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

​​

Job Experience & Education

  •  Must have at least 3 years (for Junior level) or 8 years (for Senior level) of experience in the field

​

Technical Knowledge

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or any Agriculture-related course

  • Crop nutrition knowledge is essential

  • Extensive experience in rice and corn farming is preferred

​

Language & Communication Skills 

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills​

  • Has good sense of judgment and is capable of making sound decisions

​

Planning and Organizational Skills

  • Ability to achieve professional confidence and elicit cooperation from others​

  • Ability to coordinate a variety of complex tasks simultaneously

​

Computer Skills

  • Working knowledge of basic programs to include Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point

​
